LANSING, Mich. – Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced support for several projects across Michigan that will create up to 723 new jobs and generate over $65 million in private investment combined. Additionally, the Michigan Strategic Fund Board supported over 850 new housing units combined across Pontiac, Lansing, and Detroit.

“Today’s investments in Michigan health care and manufacturing will create more than 700 good-paying jobs and continue moving our economy forward,” said Governor Whitmer. “We are working across the aisle in Lansing and with our partners in communities across the state to keep growing some of our most critical industries. Together, we will create more jobs for workers, lower costs for businesses so they can expand in Michigan, and reinvest in our cities and towns to build them up and make them even better places to live, work, and invest. Let’s keep getting it done.”

“I’m eager for the anticipated improvements occurring in healthcare, automotive and mobility, and infrastructure thanks to today’s MSF Board approval of financial support for Pulse Primary Care, Piston Automotive, and Crawford County to become a reality. Both Pulse Primary Care and Piston Automotive are solving complex issues in their respective industries, and their commitment to training the next generation of employees is equally commendable,” said Quentin Messer, Jr., CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Chair of the MSF Board. “Michigan is at its greatest when companies and communities execute on our Make it in Michigan strategy and deliver on the promise of prosperity for those who call it home.
