Detroit, MI – Maureen Donohue Krauss, President and CEO for the Detroit Regional Partnership, received the Fellow Member (FM) status for their excellence in economic development from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). Maureen will be honored at the IEDC 2023 Annual Conference during this year’s inaugural Recognition Night event in Dallas, TX, September 19.

Maureen Donohue Krauss is President and CEO of the Detroit Regional Partnership (DRP), a leading economic development non-profit serving the 11-county Detroit Region. The organization is the single point of contact for business and promotes the Detroit Region to out-of-state and international companies. Since 2020, the DRP has secured nearly 100 projects that have resulted in an estimated $7.2 billion in investment and construction output and created or supported more than 28,000 jobs in the Region. Under Krauss’ leadership, the Region was 1 out of 21 in the country that won the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Build Back Better Regional Challenge, earning a $52.2 million grant to support the Global Epicenter of Mobility Initiative.
Maureen is an accomplished professional with more than 30 years of leadership in economic development, non-profit, and government. She has extensive experience in guiding international companies to successful location decisions and has participated in more than 60 trade missions. Maureen holds a Bachelor’s degree from Albion College and a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan.
